I wouldn't worry so much about the polish phrase book, they're all going home. They've twigged that it's so expensive to live here they're better off back home now

Besides, just add -ski to the end of anything you want to say and they'll get it eventually

not at first, car is still not running properly, mind you i havent had chance to get out and do some datalogging, and trying to get it set up on alpha n.

dangle: yes some of the advice helped me, got absolutlely bombarded in the interview, was very intense, quite gruelling really! i balls up one of the tests a little, but the other two were fine, presentation went really well too, lots of nodding and smiling!

mackei23b: oxford is a very nice part of the country, tad expensive here and there but very nice driving roads! if your lucky you might run into jeremy clarkson, i think he lives very close to oxford.

To be honest where you're heading there aren't that many poles and czechs (they're more based around Cricklewood / Kilburn near where I live)... All adds to the fun!! Don't have to go on holiday to try new funky beers, just go to my local Polski shop and get two bottles of Szlap and a Dinky...

Good luck with the new job Alex.
Just think, no teenage sister to drive you up the wall for a while.
