106 MOT Question

Simple one really:

My 106 has fog lights on the front but they dont currently work. As they are fitted, do they need to work to pass MOT?

Thanks,
Chris

Yes. So put some tape over them.

front fog lamps form no part of the MOT test, unless smashed which could fail for sharp edges

A pint for the gent and a white wine/fruit based drink for the lady. Those are the rules

So if the lights are covered and the switch is "blanked off". Then all is fine?

Don't worry about it.

They don't test them.

My fog lamps are smashed to f**k and completly rusted, passed MOT though but it also got through with a broken anti roll bar drop link but the annoying thing is that they picked up on the split CV boot on the same side as the drop link.

I think it depends on who is doing it.
