From this to that in two years (pictures)
Well over two years since I picked up the badly started and bodged car...stripped it down and rebuilt from the ground up with totaly different front
suspension....
Finaly passed the SVA a few weeks ago...since then the modifications have started...
Last night was the new seats....so...an excuse to go out and drive...
From this in early 2007:
Yes, sliding pillar
Through this in late 2007:
To this today:
Thanks to all for your help

You've made a good job of that - I'd be proud.
Didn't you also rebuild a race car too?
You're quicker than me

Conga Rats to you - nice car. I particularly love the second picture - that steering rack arm would have given some very interesting bump steer!!

I did indeed
And now rebuilding this:
I think I have some mental ilness that means, if I stop building things I start to loose the plot big time.....creeepy!

Outstanding job sir, well done.
My own bought-by-me-from-it's-second-owner rush-started-and-rather-bodged Velocity has been sat on my drive since my daugther was about 4 months
old. She's now five and I'm no further on but I am now determined to get on with it before it rots away in front of my eyes!

Well done you made the right choice. I built a sliding pilar 2B used it on the road for a couple of years and then converted it to doule wishbones and
it totally transfomed it. Enjoy it. I'm sure you will.
