Nice or Naff?

whats the opinion on here, good looking motor that you would drive around in? (nice) or a pile of sh*t that you wouldn't be seen dead in? (naff)

Ah, the poor mans Bentley. S'alright, I'd drive one but I wouldn't own one. Its that little niggle in your mind, a bit like driving an MR2 that looks like a Ferrari, that you know and 99% of the people looking know its just an imitation.
As well you run the risk of it making you look a bit of a t**t.

Purely based on looks (don't know about dynamics, reliability, etc.) I would say "nice"...as long as they got rid of the pimpmobile wheels and (probably) had slightly higher profile tyres

As I suspected, and confirmed by the responses, this is a real marmite car!

I think they have enormous road presence, but don't like the "poor mans Bentley" image. They are supposed to be very reliable & hold their price well, but not so sure that will be the case with high fuel prices.

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

I've really liked them right from the first one I saw. Also very impressive handling on the track for it's type. It's also ideal for the type of distances one often travels between destinations in SA with 500 km trips being considered a short hop.

Despite the above I would hesitate to buy one because it does look a bit like a pimpmobile - especially with those wheels and if in the wrong colour. But then maybe there are many classic Yank Tanks that I would love to own but also could be called pimpmobiles.

Drove one in the States - pile of shite - horrible cheap '80's interior, and the usual US build quality.

For that money you could get a nice 3ltr BMW 5 series with realtively low mileage, now that's a nice car (bias 'cos I have one).

There's a really nice Hemi powered one I see outside work sometimes, I think they're a 5.7 V8, I'd have one of them.

Have driven the Dodge version in the USA.

I quite liked it, but really don't like monster sized rims.

Bog standard would have to be the only way for me, and without a Bentley stylee grille.

They do look a bit bad boy for me though.
