What was happening today?
Ok, so who knows what was happening today in the South East, probably Brighton.
Absolutely swarming all over the south with motorbikes, lots of run of the mill stuff but also a lot of custom metal, cafe racers and historic
bikes.
Thought there were a lot in the Guildford area, but as I was heading down towards Brighton (my eventual destination was Eastbourne for
this) I couldn't believe how many bikes there were as I got closer
to Brighton.
What was it all in aid of? (actually it being a fantastic day there were a lot of other nice cars out and I waved to more than a handful of MG
Midgets, Bs and B GTs, as I passed them loudly  )

Something to do with an Ace Cafe reunion I believe.
I was there yesterday for the Speed Trials. What a day! Best time - 8.89 @ 157mph....
Going to try and participate next year!!

I saw two really nice cars - one in Margate
red with yellow full roll cage and one in Maidstone beautiful polished ally rear end (all I got to see of it  )
Also many Triumphs and a Kubelwagen.
Maybe a rally but I suspect many just having the last run out of the year on a really nice day.
