who knows about flight numbers?

Ok mega long shot this, with all the carry on and airlines kicking the bucket not to mention Miss whippy crappin it (apparently folk at her work have just lost their holiday) I've been asked (told) to go and find out who the airline is and whether they still own a plane

Being cheapskate Scottish gits we booked a budget flight so according to the web site and it says - Tickets will be sent in the post 7-10 days prior to departure– fantastic we go at the end of November! All I’ve got is the flight number -

FUA1708

Does that give the airline? I thought all BA flights numbers were called speedbirds so perhaps that is an abbreviation for one airline? Yeah I did say it was a long shot!

Oh and it’s booked through – flythomascook

Any ideas? Cheers
