don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Hmm must be getting old (or just more responsible), me and herself sat through one of those ‘World biggest sporting disasters!’ programs a couple of
nights ago and tbh we just thought they were all just idiot adrenalin junkies, I look at that and just see one day them smashing into a car or getting
pasted by a truck. Yeah it looks fun if it wasn’t so totally recklessly dangerous!

It'll be not far off, but you only get the HD version if you register and download. The version you see on the webpage is pretty low
resolution.
Standard TV is about 720x576 pixels.
Full HD is 1960x1080 pixels.
Your laptop is probably 1280x800.

They are wearing helmets though, so not THAT daft. I'm guessing they've done that run a few times fully padded up though before they
risked doing it in just helmets.
Bit like motorbiking though, once you've done it a couple of times it just feels natural and you do feel safe and don't see the point in
all those pads and what-not. Rode down a national speed limit road the other day in the rain with just a helmet... and got bored as it wasn't
fast enough
eta* not that I was managing 60, I'm guessing from the traffic that I was doing 30 - 40
