Video....

Guys

I have a few videos from my racing at the Blyton Rallycross event last weekend. I didn't do too well except in the fun race which was OKish.

Anyway, there is some good action, hope you enjoy, let me know if you do!

I took the missus and kids to watch on Sunday and they loved it, even SWMBO said she would love to have a go. I was going to pop over and have a chat but didnt really get a minute with the kids and of course all the racing.

Hopefully we'll get to another meet this year as i would love to have a proper look around the karts and a chat if thats ok.

A pint for the gent and a white wine/fruit based drink for the lady. Those are the rules

Next race for us is at Blyton on the 5th October, then Cadwell on the 2nd Nov (not great to spectate at!)

More than happy to have a chat. Just come on over and say hello! Kettle is on most of the time (very understanding wife) and you can have a good look round the car.

I'm not sure how fast the Superlights seemed from a spectators perspective in relation to the rallycross cars (?) but even with the extra chicane we run, we were only 2 seconds slower that the really fast cars like Mad Mark etc. So quicker overall. I don't think some of the guys who spend a small fortune on their cars like that fact.

Anyway, it certainly seemed fast from where I was sat!

Hope to see you

sounds like you have an ANGRY HORNET powering that thing!

looks like great fun, one observation though, the buggy seems to be sliding around a lot when you put power down through the corners, could you not put wider/bigger tyres on the buggy and improve your chance of victory?

Its a blade engine actually not a hornet

It has no diff so the only way to steer is to get the back loose. Its a very 'unique' driving style which is taking me a while to master

the karts seemed plenty fast enough from the side of the track, though they look quicker still from the onboard footage. .
