Brrrrrrr
After replacing some wiring I came to work in the Indy this morning by way of a mini-shakedown.
Sky reasonably clear this morning, checked hour by hour forecast, would be cold but getting clearer as the day went on. So, no rain, off I go.
THEY DIDN'T SAY IT WOULDN'T HAIL THOUGH, DID THEY?!!? Half way to work and I'm being covered with ice crystals! Nice.

I went out last night down the coast, nice and clear skys. On the way back the heavens opened and standing water on the roads. (I'll need to
find out where I fitted a rain magnet to the car and remove it )
Yes I got soaked again and the car took on the role of a bath tub as the spray was coming off the wheel, along the car, and deflected by the rear arch
and into the cockpit! All this at 25pmh!!
Cheers

I mind getting followed by the police through Aberdeen in my beach buggy…
must have wondered why anyone sober would be driving round in a roofless, windscreenless weird looking car on Christmas day
at least it wasn’t raining

I've had to start wearing something to cover my nose. The rest of me is fine with cold weather but my nose runs like a bustard!!! I got a
motorbike snood type thing and pull that up over my nose......
Only other trouble is the cold makes me pee. For some reason my 7 does that at the best of times (I think it's excitement!!). When it's
cold my kidneys have a greater flow rate than my fuel pump (and that's saying something at 22mpg!!!).....

Sounds like a colostomy bag is the way forward for long distance motoring in the winter!

Better, he could fit himself up with a catheter plumbed into a hole in the floor for a fully automatic system.

With that pee-rate - it'd be like following an artic' full off Cows/Sheep on the way to market... p*ssing and sh*tting out of the trailer
all over the road/cars... fancy following that on a hot summers day in a Se7en type - at least int' Winter you'de have your gob shut!!!

Surely the best solution would be to somehow make the engine run on p1ss and plumb himself straight into the carbs

Okay, I exagerate re the MPG but it sure feels like it sometimes!!!
I'm not sure I'd fancy self-catherterisation, having done it to plenty of people it doesn't look the best way to enhance the driving
experience!!!
I wonder if the nitrates in urine would give power? You've heard of water injection- this is urine injection!!! Increase power and prevent
detonation. I wonder.... They did used to make salt petre from urine after all.....
I bet I could sell a urine injection system on Ebay.....
