Painting over Sadolin!?!
Have two new internal glazed paneled door can't make up my mind whether to paint or stain , so I was wondering if I could use something like
Sadolin on them , and then paint over with satinwood if I change my mind.
Will it bleed through , could it be sealed with summat?

If it does bleed through then a spirit based paint such as Stain Stop will work.
Available in both tin and spray can!

Sadolin is an oil based coloured varnish...
You can paint over it with an oil based paint....

Give it a good sanding to knock off the gloss, and remove any flaking - just like painting over ordinary paint.
