I agree!
But for filming it and putting it on the net.
What a thicko.
Keep the fun stuff to the track - or at least off internet sites...

the true lesson here, is 'dont incriminate yourself'. He talked himself into jail when he mentioned youtube.

He would have got done for the video if they could make out the reg.
Ive got a TL1000R, so no stranger to the odd squirt up the motorway etc, but showboating gives us all a bad name, kit cars n all. Every Petrolhead
gets tarnished with the same brush.
Kindest Regards,
Richard.

He may have done it to get caught in order to save himself the messy suicide he had coming. There is a reason hospitals call bikers "mobile
organ donors".
I had a great few years on a bike that was very fast, but I was also very lucky to have survived my antics. I get the attraction but really,
eventually it's time to grow up and look at death in the face, cause that's what's coming.

If he hadn't mentioned the video to the copper I doubt he'd have got more than a warning on the spot as there was not enough evidence to
prosecute.
They would have had to get more witnesses to have had any chance in court, doubt the CPS would have touched it with a bargepole on a word against word
basis.
What a muppet.

Question - will jailing him stop other bikers/drivers behaving in the same way?
Answer - No, it'll just make them think twice about posting it on the web.
Result - only more expense to the taxpayer

at least if any biker had convinced himself it was just a bit of fun, he now knows the law doesnt see it that way.
I used to often steer with my knees until I heard someone got jailed for it (without crashing).
