slingshot2000 - 23/7/11 at 11:10 PM

Maybe, if it had an 'RS' badge in the centre and was on a slammed Mk1 Escort

LBMEFM - 24/7/11 at 06:05 AM

Maybe in it's time but I think the Minilte was better.

Original Minilite has never been bettered --form follows function.

Doctor Derek Doctors - 24/7/11 at 11:49 AM

Nah, best looking wheel ever (apart from the VW Ronal Teddy Bears obviously) is the current Sauber F1 car 'slotmag' wheels:

plentywahalla - 24/7/11 at 12:07 PM

....and only £99 !

http://www.midlandwheels.com/Shop/P-6840-7.5x-13-JBW-RS-4-Spoke-Black-Machined.html

Can't beat a minilite.

liam.mccaffrey - 24/7/11 at 12:34 PM

i think the veyron is an 'orrible car but I really like the wheels,

Steve Hignett - 24/7/11 at 01:14 PM

Maybe it's because my "car likes" run toward the German brands that my wheel tastes do also;

The above are all BBS's (I think), but I also like the TSW Hockenheim's - I know they became a bit of a chavvy wheel, but I still like them!

And I also really like the wheel's I've got for my current project (Which is NOT mine, and I'm NOT paying for it!!!)

I just like em, think they're a "bit different"...

blakep82 - 24/7/11 at 01:17 PM

No. End of.
BBS for me, in fact the ones Steve just posted ftw

MikeRJ - 24/7/11 at 01:50 PM

Minilites, 4 spoke Revolutions and the RS wheels are all classics that are rarely bettered IMO. The BBS things usually seen on BMWs etc. are way too fussy and an utter ball ache to clean.

Doctor Derek Doctors - 24/7/11 at 02:01 PM

Anyone who's worked for a race team thats runs BBS wheels will hate them with a passion. I'm sure I spent most of 2004 cleaning those stupid fucking things with their millions of spokes and gaps.

Marcus - 24/7/11 at 06:48 PM

It's the 5 spoke RWD offset Revolutions that do it for me

me too, just had a pair of 9x15 revolution 5 spokes delivered

great quality rim, well finished, and well priced in my opinion

yep they look nice

TimC - 25/7/11 at 09:25 AM

What, no votes for 'spinners'?

Volvorsport - 25/7/11 at 11:18 AM

BBS LMs for me , or some centrelock speedlines

Liam - 25/7/11 at 11:39 AM

No, because it's a 4-spoke, which only look marginally better than tri-spokes! Now if it was exactly the same but 5-spokes, it would be awesome.

Ferrari...horses for courses of course..

Litemoth - 25/7/11 at 01:13 PM

aaaaaah, the pressed Weller ...

Litemoth - 25/7/11 at 01:16 PM

Miks15 - 25/7/11 at 01:17 PM

Some deep dished minilites do it for me!

matt_gsxr - 25/7/11 at 01:18 PM

5-spoke wheels with 4 wheel-nuts upset me aesthetically.

Got to be 4-spoke 14inch revolutions. The 13inch are good, but the spacing on the 14's is nicer.

vindicator - 25/7/11 at 01:25 PM

some one asked for them...I had them on my old austin healy (frog eye sprite)...pain to clean....

Regards

Confused but excited. - 25/7/11 at 05:32 PM

Surely it depends on the car that they are going on.
ie: Old retro roadster can only have shiny chrome/stainless knock-on wires.
I still prefer the older deep-dish style alloys over modern ones with the spoke protruding out past the tyres.
Not that it's in any way relevant but I have a set of Alleycats, waiting to be re-furbed, for mine.
Thank you Litemoth for the preview. they look really good.
Also got a set of 7"x15", five spoke Compomotives, as fitted to Ferraris, for the second build.
If I live that long.
