NTDWM Bit gutted as I just sourced mine.... anyway had my search left on ebay and this has come up with no reserve!
3 Stage Dry Sump Pump on eBay (end time 03-Nov-10 19:15:25 GMT)
[Edited on 27/10/10 by Dan.]
Ooooh blimey! I suspect it might go up in price a bit but it's so what I want!!!
I like the fact that it's on the bedside cabinet
Look at the scoring of the internal lobes. My guess is the engine has blown and the pump has been attempting to pump a mixture of oil and metal.
Technical term for this is Gubbed

Hi. There was another view on the listing which looked down through the ports and scoring could be seen on the lobes. This is usually caused by a
engine failure of some sort.
In my case it was a specialist front casing becoming porus, the roller tappets seized, the cams spalded, with all the debris being pumped through the
engine.
Pump lobes looked just like that view I saw on ebay afterwards.
The casing supplier was a gentleman and replaced all the damaged components (cams, followers, pump, bearings and tappets aside from the casing!!) at
his cost although I had the hastle of hauling the engine out and rebuilding it.
Cheers
