David
My mate found a 12v one in his dad's garage and the motor just spun when he tried it. He gave it me to play with or dispose of so I took it to pieces and found two ball bearings in the centrifugal bit were stuck. I released them, put it back together and tried it again and it took wheel nuts off no trouble.
split decision then
I have tried many but ended up getting a Sealy one as it was the same as used by tyre fitter

Looked at the new Snap On cordless gun today , impressive torque , something like 600nm but weighs a ton and is nearly £400 plus VAT . If it hadn't weighed so much I would have brought one.
