Im no expert on roll cage design/ strength but it looks the dogs danglies!!

Suppose its a bit late for input, that ship has sailed! I'd be happier with a vertical pillar local to the dash / welded area. Kinda looks like if it had to support the car, it would just bend. I believe the MSA blue book for roll cages requires it to be vertical, once past the windshield area.

i'm replicating the original cage that was fitted to this chassi and one that was used on track and passed scruitinering
as stated roll cage nearly finished :-)

it is now :-)
