Nice and close that. I like

If the german cobbler had been in second, I suspect Senna may have rec'd a nudge!

In the dry he was great in the wet he was amazing.

I remember the european (I think) grand prix from that year or the year after and Senna was unbelievable.

Truly a huge loss

Edit: just checked - Donnigton in 93
Edit 2: Donnington '93

lets not forget ratzenburger either, he always seems to get overlooked, hewas the same age as the master even if not as talented a driver.

trouble is with Monaco, you just cannot pass.....its too easy to make the car wide, that vid to me shows how the williams was so superior to the McLaren.

senna was without a doubt the most talented driver for decades,,

how fantastic would it be if you could take the best of the best in equal machinery...
a race to see for sure.

a true master of the craft can drive any discipline and be damn good at it,
Senna could drive anything you put him in and he was damn good at it.......

a loss to the motorsport fraternity, but at least he will be remembered as a superstar and well deserved that title is.........

If so, how come Michael Shumacher started from the pit lane and finished 5th out of 22 starters?
