Evening,
reading through the book of lies and it said that its good practice to change them on a re-build. Is this neccesary or just to cover themselves, Ill
be going to ford to get some other bits so was wondering if i should enquire??
If anyone has done this what prices were you quoted?
Cheers
John
Edit: - shes a 2.0L

Its incase they get blocked, I didnt change them I just cleaned them out.
Depends which engine, some have them (2L) and some don't (1.8) so IMO not really necessary
I believe some of the more fruity 1800s had them aswell, the ~130bhp versions for example.
I would have thought making sure they were clean and clear of any build up would suffice.
Hi
Yep the 1800 130 engines had them But thats the genuine 130 not the later ones with the 2ltr cams fitted.
If using the engine for trackday or harder use they really need to be fitted.
