Help overseas

I have rebuilt a Xflow 1100, and am building a small project kart for it. The only problem is, i am having a hard time finding a gearbox to fit the block. I know this is an import engine, but just wondering if they make like a Xflow to T5 bellhousing or something. Any other ideas, some US cars have similar bolt pattern for gearbox, thanks

ive looked at getting one from the UK but it appears shipping it is a little out of my budget. Ive managed to find a few Capri's at the junk yard but they get gutted before i get a wrench on em. Ive heard maybe a Mustang II or Pinto from the 70's would work also?

what sort of kart ? for road use, off road use, fun????

have you thought of a small bike engine, or making your own adaptor plate for a gear box you can easily sort over there ?

a box of a fwd car maybe ? put the engine box in the rear,

just throwin ideas your way....

I guess I can always take a fiesta transaxle and adpat the tranny to make a little mid-engine racer.

This engine may be very common over there, but I found mine in a Jacobensen tractor. We also use the 1100cc Xflow for military use over here. Kinda funny
