Hi guys, ive been informed by SVA that taking a haynes manual with engine number details is proof of age.

So I called haynes tech services and they did a check and said that my engine number was covered in book 1683 corolla 1987-1992. So i bought the book but cant find where it mentions engine numbers at all. Anyone know where engine numbers are usually in a haynes?


P.S Reason im going down the haynes route is that my engine is an import, so toyota GB tell me, and toyota EU are very much less than helpfull.

Just looked in my Haynes Manual #92032 for Toyota Corolla 1980-1987, 4AGE, I couldn't find the engine number, year reference either. Also North American version.
