I seem to have one hose that I cant get to stay on, and I am fed up with mopping up pink coolant each time!
I am using Samco hose, and it is connecting to a plastic connection on the bike thermostat housing. I tried it before, and had a piece of insulation
tape under the connection, so I thought it was that, but I've just tried it tonight, and after about 10 mins sat at 96C, it blew.
Are there any pearls of wisdom for getting a good seal? What hose/jubilee clips are the best? I will double check that I am using the right size hose,
but otherwise, I am stumped!
i had a few boost hoses blow off until i used the proper silicon hose hose clamps.
its probably that.

Had the same problem out on the trail last week in the middle of nowhere on my bike. Hose blew off twice, even though the plastic pipe was beaded
You need to clean off all the old antifreeze residue, as it becomes slippery'r than a slippery thing when wet. Then take a junoir hacksaw and
make very shallow grooves around the circumference where the hose sits.
This just roughens the area & gives the hose something to grip when it gets hot & steamy.
hey presto, happy hoses all round !
