which plug??

Can anyone tell me which plug is best suited to a mildy tuned pinto engine???
Time for a quick service before the RR set up and the first run of the year.
thanks in advance

the standard NGK AP6FS is what I use as on a mildy tuned pinto, nothing else is needed

Not a great deal of choice as far as heat range is concerned, IIRC CCC mag did an article years ago possibly written by David Vizard or Dave Walker where they used an adaptor from 18mm to 10mm ? so that bike plugs could be used due to the wider heat range available

nope, wrong! Sorry, remember that article well!!

He used bike plugs as he was building a twin plug pinto head and there was no room to get a second big plug in.

There are PLENTY of heat range options on pinto plugs, and we DID find it necessary to drop one range on my brother's old road rally sierra with 140hp pinto.

only noticed it when under load for a long time on really long uphill straights, but then it started to misfire and detonate a touch, going one plug cooler fixed it perfectly.

Burtons stock the full range (many plugs!! ) give them a ring.
