OOo shiney

I would suggest that a cam cover should be able to be sprayed with std cellulose paint as it shouldnt get that hot.

So it would need rubbing down with wet n dry, etch priming then painting with your choice of colour

I have done one in standard spray paint from Halfords etc - doesnt need anything special as it doesnt get that hot. You could also look at getting it powdercoated too.

Thats what I have used on my rocker cover.... works fine..

But as Flak says... Make sure you use a decent etch primer!!! (frosts sell it if you cant find any in halfords)

When I get round to it, I'm gonna do mine with crackle/wrinkle black paint

Looks great, but as many Honda owners (including myself) will attest it's not the most robust finish. It seems to get very hard and brittle after a number of heat cycles, and starts to chip off.
