Possible rethink on rad

Was wondering which Polo rad people have used I phoned GSF and he said they're all different?

More importantly- anyone know what O.D. sizes the in/out pipes are?

mine came from an f reg 1 litre. A friend conviniently wrote hers off just as i was looking for a rad! As said ont other thread, its 32mm pipes. They're a bastard to get back on though, so im using 34mm pipes. I'll let you know if it goes kaboom when my coil problems get sorted!

Part no. from Eurocarparts 203440491. Listed as 1.0/1.3 1983-1990 Polo IIRC.

Thanks for all that everybody.

I've already got an ok(ish) Micra rad but it's got 25mm pipes and I'm having problems getting converters to go to the 31 and 39mm Pinto pipes.

How have most people converted pipe sizes for this sort of size? I've tried the usual suspects and no one seems to supply anything of this sort of size!

Burton Power (i know they are pricey) do silicon radiator pipe reducers, 25-32mm and 25-38mm, they even have angled ones to go round corners.

But they arent cheap at about £10 each!!

Yeah, pain in the arse that they're different as it means an extra size or convertor to worry about sourcing.

Check out my website as I have a picture of the polo radiator with a ruler next to it for reference. I also have a database of radiators with sizes shown so you can compare them.
