What engine are we talking about?

Ferriday will make a copper head gasket upto 3mm (I think) - not as cheap as a stocl gasket, but aparrently the only one you'll ever need.

It would be a lot cheaper to do it the old fashioned way and grind the combustion chamber.

It would also be a lot easier to deep 6 the boat anchor.

I have a 2.1 engine fitted with V6 pistons on injection rods, the guy that built it did not deck the block so I have a low compression (about 8 to 1) engine.
The piston deck height will be 1.5mm lower than standard
Swap for your Vulcan?
Thickest gasket you can get is a special Cometic @ 1.75mm £120
Standard is 1.62 crushed
Transit low compression engine is 8.2 to 1
My engine should be 9 to 1 with a 1 mm gasket
