Clutch bleeding:(
Simon - 27/2/04 at 11:28 AM

Right. I bled clutch. Bled it again. Bled it again.

It works for the last inch of travel.

Standard Rover SD1 slave, Wilwood 0.7" master (standard 0.625"

I'm sure I put clutch plate in right way round!

Any tips for bleeding please.

Thanks

Simon

Silly question maybe but, does the actuator arm move immediately you start to depress the pedal ?

If not and there's no slack between the slave punger and the arm then..hydraulic probably

If it does then it's mechanical internal to the clutch.

Tim,

Bought a new ezbleed just for the job, and magaged to get 1/2 pint of brake fluid inside my car (with 4psi tyre!) poxxy thing didn't seal properly to master cyl

Will have another go at bleeding over weekend and (as I haven't got the sh*t plate) I'll see if I can see what it's doing inside!

Thanks

Simon
