crossflow engine, left hand side exhast.

However, it is entirely possible to have an exhaust routed to either side of your car, so putting your box on one side doesnt rule out any engines really.

there might be a slight increase in cost as the pipes would need to be longer etc, but it wouldnt stop me.

Here we go, from memory:

RH=right hand
LH=well, the obvious....

Pinto: RH
CVH: LH
Xflow: LH
VW 1.8Turbo:LH
K-series: LH
Vaux 16v LH (? not sure...?)
Pug XU 8v and 16V (as per 205 GTI): RH
Cosworth YB: RH

So it seems to make the most sense in having the exhaust on the left hand side....

Anyone know of anymore RH exhaust engines? Using a LH exhaust engine in a LHD car would meen having the exhaust (or the turbo ;-)) right over the brake M/C
