i have 2ltr pinto engine with the standard carbs, recently a number 1 rocker came off due probly to a weak spring and it started poping and banging, since i have put it back on it doesent run smooth, it sounds like its missing. can anyone help tell me wot could be causing it?

Sounds like you might have bent a valve. Did it drop the valve into the cylinder where it may have hit the top of the piston? It looks like you will have to take the head off to find out anyway.
