Dave Vizard showed how to make valve saet cutters in an early book on tuning the Ford x/flow. The method involved grinding a radius on a drill bit end to make the cutter and using it to cut curved valve seats (even better than multi angle jobs?) The book must have been published in the early 70's, about the time he was writing for CCC.

If you look at the specification for the valve seat, it's probably better/easier to leave it to a machine shop - mind you, there's no guarantee that they'll do it according to spec either!

You would be better and cheaper to get it done with a professional unit, youre only likely to use it once so its not realy worth the outlay
