I've been offered an mt75 gearbox with adapter plate to fit a pinto for 60 quid ,but the box came out of a transit.
Does this matter, and is it worth 60 quid.
I don't know much about the mt75 are they any good?

Superb they are good for 105 mph in 5th @4000 rpm
