oil cooler fitted
Used angle iron for top and bottom supports
(got a steel edged radiator so just drilled holes in the spare bits of flange and used bolts all round)
The angle iron does cut out a couple of rows of the water rad, but water temps have been fine so far...possibly well over engineered
Originally was going to use the cable tie method through water rad and oil cooler fins but decided not to for safety sake

Never mind where you fit it just make sure you use the correct pipe fitments NOT JUBILEE clips

following up on what Jacko said..
I used a local hydraulic pipe company to make the pipes to length whilst I waited....and nearly sh*t myself when the bill came in..and the 3 short
pipes came to nearly double the cost of the cooler itself
I'm sure the guy said the pipes were rated at several thousand PSI, so I should be OK
Another piece of severe over engineering, but better than worrying the pipes are going to bust , pop off
decent quality connectors and pipe are not cheap! (at least not at our local place)

The cooler is for ATF - the autobox was getting a bit, ahem, warm (blowing oil out ).
I procured the cooler + pipes for £20 from a gent on LCB and originally thought I'd mount it alongside the bellhousing with some fabricated
ducting to get air in and out.
So I redesigned the pipework to locate the cooler up front and ended up spending another £75 on pipe, tube and fittings. As said above, not cheap.
They tried to sell me some hose at around £40 /metre.
I ended up making most of the 4 foot runs with steel pipe.
Anyway, it seems to have been successful as I did 50 miles a few days ago and it behaved fine.

don't have photo but mine is in engine back about halfway along the engine.
prupose being to increase oil capacity rather than to have mega oil cooling - don't think I needed it with the 1300 ... not that have larger and
more tuned crossflow, I may look to relocate it for increased cooling so would need to sit in front of radiator.
