Would a Pinto auto be any different engine wise to a manual?

To convert just fit a maual flywheel and spigot bearing, if it is ECU equiped may also be minor differences in the ECU idle control setting to suit auto trans -- auto need to idle faster to avoid stalling when the tranny is put from N into D.
