Hi,
Who has some pictures of an exhaust system of a Seven that is running underneath the car.
I m looking at getting my exhaust out on the back, i currently run my exhaust standard on the side so i would like to see i how you guys did the
extension to the back and where to place the silencer.
Thanks in advance.
I think that Johnmor has done his underneath (he's got a Viento running an Alfa V6 IIRC so it's a twin pipe jobby to boot...
EDIT: Yep...

not my cup of tea,but steves looks sweet.
Several years ago Nigel Dean did it on his westy seight.
Surely ground clearance must also be very tight, especially over speed bumps etc.
will is going down the tunnel. not much good to you if yours is already built though, as you'll need a wider tunnel i think
Ahem - "steve's" is actually BigRich's!
I've posted the photo on his behalf so many times, I just don't bother giving him credit for them anymore!

Steve - the exhaust cans in the picture you put up, what are they???
many thanks
Have a look at a Donkervoort (D8). They've got the exhaust coming out the side, then a (huuuuge!) silencer in the "normal" location and
then feed a pipe through the rear wing, over the suspension and down again (following the rear wing profile; these cars have wide rear wings, so there
is plenty of space inside the wing without having clearance issues around the tires). The exhaust then exits at the back. Lots and lots if heat
shielding involved, but a nice solution.
Good luck!
Sebastiaan (double A, but also LHD in holland ;-))
From memory, I think they are 2006 R1 Cans that Rich stole from his brother...
Well I think he bought them, but that doesn't sound as good as if he stole them from a close family member
Send Bigrich a U2U and he'll tell you all about them and the way he fitted 'em too
