seriously, i dont know about regulations for racing but in general its a matter of having the sump off, probably shortening it at the same time, chopping the pick up pipe, and putting baffles in places where they wont hit stuff when you put it back on. On my pinto sump, the standard baffle was well placed to stop forward surge on braking. it may be worth blocking the holes slightly to further slow oil egress, as on acceleration it should wash over the slope of the baffle quite easily to return to the back of the sump. other baffles can be placed if required to reduce sideways slosh. The best thing that can be done though is make sure the oil pickup filter is flat and close to the bottom of the sump, then you have more leeway before it starts sucking air.
