Conversion Question
Nash - 25/10/09 at 10:15 AM

All,
Am I right in thinking that a 1300cc engine is 21303 cubic centremetres?

I am filling the IVA App form and it asks for engine capacity in cm³

Second question: What is the Max design road speed of a Seven?

Third Question: Towable Mass?

..............Neil

1.3 litre = 1300cc = 1300 cubic centremetres

You should fill in the nominal cc for the engine not the rounded number used in the model name, ie 1.3 escort is not exactly 1300cc.

cc=cubic centimetres

Cubic Inches is CU or sometimes CI

maximum design speed is what your tyres are rated to

I assumed Ford used inches being American and by inference that was the defacto measurement. Oh Well shows what assumption did!

1297cc it is then

Thanks all.
