Pacet or Kenlowe or Unbranded Fan
Irony - 30/7/10 at 09:58 AM

Just fitted my radiator and I want a cooling fan to go with it. I reckon a Pacet Club 12" with the fitting kit would be ideal. But it costs serious cash. Well over hundred 130 hard earned pounds!

I would like a cheap option or is it just worth shelling out the cash????
Cheers

Kev

The difference between a Pacet fan and a cheaper one is much less than the cost of rebuilding your engine......

I realise this but on occasion you pay for the name and I was wondering what people thought on the matter.

I bought the 16 inch version of this, it cools my E Type's engine fine, far better that the original twin fan set up.

I spent ages researching for my one, checking CFM rates etc. etc.

A 12" ish Pacet from Rally Design is £70. It comes with some mounts and I made the brackets myself from some off cuts of 3mm strip and rod:

Golf rad and fan mounts 2
