These bearings seem to be the way forward - have you got the part number? Going to replace my current arrangement for one of these.
100% better than the one off the donor car!

i do like this one as well as this maybe better for mounting to the chassis but the other is the direct replacement for the Ford one.

Why does you steering not work with the normal bushed setup? Ok they wear eventually but have you felt the weight difference? Are you the angles all wrong on your column or something? I don't understand why it requires a big heavy bearing just to "work"?
