Still un-decided hence the opposing questions on here at the moment.

Will a 1.8 Fiesta Zetec ecu loom work on a Mondeo 2 litre Black-top? Are they basically all the same?

spark map should be close but I would expect the 2.0 to want more juice. 130ps 1.8 map would be even closer.

It will run, a friend of mine had a 2.0 silvertop in an Escort running on the 1.8 ECU for a while. However it certainly doesn't give the drivability or performance that the correct ECU does.
