Just about to order propshaft. So thought I'd pop along to local ford dealer for the necessary bolts only to find on the sierra all couplings are
through one or another form of anti-vibration/cush Drive.
Question is:-
Do I need to obtain & fit anything between end of propshaft and Sierra LSD?
and
What type/size bolts should I use - assume they need to be rather strong?
Cheers,
Andy
maybe I'm a little confused by your posting but..
Sierra cush drive mountings are at the front of the drive shatf near the gearbox rather than the Diff. And also ealry sierras did NOT have a cush
drive.....
Cheers

when i went to get my prop made, i simply told them it was to fit a sierra diff. They just made it exactly like the donor prop, but the right length and in one piece. hence it just bolted up to the diff flange with the original bolts, just like in the donor. a competent prop shop will (almost) certainly have made props for kitcars before, so will be familiar with the sierra diff.
