Need a head gasket to fit on a 1275 A series engine. The engine is standard but not sure what gasket to buy ie copper or fibre.Any suggestions.
Going back a bit but I seem to remember them being fibre ones.
Standard engine for everyday use, use a good quality standard one. No need for copper.
The BK450 black composite gasket is the preferred choice for a well tuned A series. There was a duff batch of these made a while back, but they should all be gone by now. The copper Payen AF460 is also a good gasket, but the composite one has the edge in the higher performance engines. If you get them through minispares you will get a decent one.
