Hi all,
I have a bit of a problem. I have an exhaust system which I bought some time ago off here and when I finally got the engine running earlier on this
year, it was rather loud to say the least!
I am trying to think of the best way to try and reduce the noise (which I'm sure will fail the IVA, although I haven't actually managed to
measure the dB level). I know there are dB killers etc. but I don't think that will be an option for my system because it is a twin pipe into a
single box system as shown below:

Has anyone got any 'locost' ideas please?
Thanks.
JB
I have the same problem, and yet to find a cure, with out sticking an enormous box on the side (thats NOT happening!)
from your pics your engine seems very forward, as it it deception?

As repacking doesn'tlook an option on that box and the tail pipe is very short for a DB killer...
I'd say the best option is a different silencer. You could even have space to put 2. So fit a 2into1 in the long front section and then one large
silencer or 2 small ones. There might even be some universal 2in/2out silencers you could use in the long run.
