Main bearings on duratec

Going to be fitting my nice new shiney raceline sump and have wondered about changing the main bearings. Can this be done without removing crank. infact I don't really want to remove anything if possible!! Anyone done this?

If you think the engine requires new main bearing it will require a full rebuild in reality, not worth doing part of the job. Unless you remove the crank you can only get at 1/2 of the bearing thus whats the point. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

I decided that I would change the con rod bolts to ARP one's and thats all I did

Don't change them unless you know they need it, current Ford/Mazda engine bearings last a very long time unless they have been oil starved.
