Does anyone one know the dimensions of the mx5 engines? Particularly the height. Thanks

I am sorry I can't give figures, but it is very shallow, and the only bit that sticks up is the throttle body cable. This can be easily modded according to Keith Tanner. His book is invaluable, as you would expect from someone from near where I live.

The engine fits in the narrow, book chassis no problem, with no bonnet cutting.
