ok please bear with me as I build bikes etc and have no real knowledge of these systems, my latest build is a pain as cant find anywhere that will be able to RR set it up locally

so I been looking at these AFR guages etc, am I correct in my understanding that this will allow me to see the rich/lean state of the engine in real time, so I can work out where in the range needs tuning and at least know Im going the right way with it

my exhaust system is 4-2-1, so Im guessing that I would be best putting the lambda sensor bit in the system where its just 1 pipe? as I have 4 adjustable carbs I dont want it in the downpipe etc where it will read just that carb?

am I totally wrong or at least barking at the right forest, deffo most likely the wrong tree, but at least in the vicinity LOL

Yep your correct. It will read realtime afr and position in the position is best in the end by the last collector.
