Radiator help
ChrisLeary - 16/9/11 at 02:01 PM

Afternoon all,

I hope you're well?

Is there any chance someone could point me in the right direction for the correct polo radiator to use with a zetec please?

Also, what are the dimensions of the said radiator?

Thanks in advance,

Chris

I've had a look at surrey dave's posts regarding the radiators, and I've seen the dimensions, but any ideas which mk or part number I'd need?

Also, what is the switch for that I can see in the left hand side (from the rear) of the radiator? I've read somewhere it's for a temp sender, but if I'm using the one already on the zetec engine I have, do I need to use it?

Cheers again,

Chris

VW4 on this web page is the answer I believe

Lnky dinky to Northern Radiators

edit bit

The thermo switch would be the standard 2 pin VW switch and don't forget to buy a VW made Gasket when fitting it. it controls the electric fan.

For mounting m22 thread fan switch -- choose a switch with an off temperature a few degrees above the thermostat temperature ie a fan switch that goes on at about 96 and off about 93.
