Hi all,
What is the best oil to run in a type 9 box? Any better than others? Don't mind spending money id it going to work better
Look on the burton power website;
http://www.burtonpower.com/tuning-guides/tuning-guide-pages/ford-type-9-gearbox-guide.html
my type 9 ran very well on ATF
BGH Geartec recommend Comma oil , they know a thing or two about type 9 boxes
MTF94 works very nicely -----just don't use a Hypoid EP (GL5) diff gear oil.

What spec of comma oil?
sx75/90 GL4 I think.
Nearly...
SX75W-90 GL4
It's odd stuff - a clear liquid, but it smells as much as ordinary gear oil!
