I'm going to be removing the zetec 2.0l silvertop from the 7 over the next few weeks, whats worth doing while the engine is out?

Depends how deep the pockets are. as a minimum clucth check and change if required, have the 2 litre flywheel lightened and balanced it is a tad heavy and this will let it rev more freely. other than that if it was running okay leave it alone unless your going for more bhp
