Hi
I've just had my crossflow over bored to +0.060" Will I have to get a head gasget to fit a +0.060" bore or will the std head gasget fit

Not yet got it home from the reborer Yet to check

head gasket shouldnt be much of a problem, what about the pistons?

Call Wilcox and tell them what you're doing. I did this when rebuilding my xflow and they recommended which parts (gaskets, oil pumps etc) would be most cost-effective and suitable for my engine. Their prices were pretty reasonable, too.

The head gasket is the same part, wether a standard or +90 overbore

Standard bore size 80.978mm

You have + 0.060" = 1.524mm

So in theory you need a 82.5mm headgasket linky or of course a cheaper alterative

Thanks for linky

I'll get one
