hi boys just bought a 2007 busa to put in the 7 question is what sump is best!!!
i herd very good things about sbd dry sump kit but not sure if i need to spend all that money!!
spoke to many people and all say difrent things ? any advice appreciated!
You're not going to get a single "right" answer to this.
Spend your money whatever that might be and take your chance.
I know what I'd do with a ~£2000 engine and that's why I have'nt got one, because I couldn't afford the rest
im about to fit the dry sump kit from SBD. Looks a good setup.
Are you going to race the car or just use it for road and a few track days?
If so I would save your money and buy a billet sump with swinging pick up.
But if you are going to race I would fit a dry sump.
If you want any more help you can give me a call any time.
Thanks danny
As Danny said depends on what your using it for .
If budget allows the dry sump would be defo the way to gofor out right reliabilty ,but it will cost you the same price as you aid for your engine
Ie: nearly 2 grand , I am fitting a nova sump from extreme engine at the minute and it's all the hidden costs is what makes it expensive, new
slave cylinder, electric water pump, hose , fitting, tank etc etc
Noc how much do you think a complete set up will cost ???
I have everything exclu pipes+connectors. Came to between 1500-1600.
