A list of ones that are tested and are proven to work are at this URL http://fbhvc.co.uk/fuel-information/
Be aware any type of zinc pellets that go in the tank DO NOT WORK they are not catalysts just a rip off.
When I ran the x-flow and leaded became difficult to find I looked at tests in various classic magazines and they all came to the same conclusion,
none were a real substitute for 4*. Millers from memory was one of the best but it still did not prevent the valve seats wearing away. The "snake
oil" things to drop in your tank etc were all a total waste of time and money.
I did the only thing possible for a permanent long term solution, had hard seats fitted to the exhaust valves, cost about £100. It save carrying
addative and if carried out by a reputable company means you will never need to worry in the future. If you spend money on adatives you will have to
have seats fitted when the originals become unservicable as they inevitably will, why pay twice?
