Just looking at the possibility of converting to EFI.
The megasquirt diagrams look very complicated to a novice EFI'er but whats the minimum sensors needed to run a setup?
I have megajolt so have the basics for spark 36-1 and TPS
Thanks

You have the hardest ones o fit. You just need a lambda (I run a narrow band) coolant temp, inlet temp, injectors, fuel rail, pump, pressure regulator, and some patience.

ETA its not that difficult once you READ the manual and understand how it works. Get a known good ECU olfactory built unit from Philip ring wood. Anything else is a red herring and an expensive mistake.

It's not hard if you take your time, and methodically do one thing at a time. As Richard attempted to say, drop Phil Ringwood an email, he's brilliant. www.extraefi.co.uk

cheers, which ecu is best ms1 2 or 3 or the microsquirt??

Is MAP needed? what bout idle control too?

will be running a supercharger as well.

I'll contact phil if i cant get the carbs to run right.

Phil will advise you best, but you'll probably want an MS2 with an uprated MAP. Idle control is just a matter of buying a Bosch one from ebay for not a lot and wiring it in. The MS2 can do either PWM or stepper idle control.

i think the phenum has an idle control on it.. cheers again.
